Teresa Lynn Towne-Woolard was a 48 year old from Burton, Michigan. She was the mother of two and had 3 siblings. On December 11, 2016, police showed up at Teresa’s apartment due to a 911 call made by an unknown person. She wasn’t there. Witnesses claim Teresa and man walked west, away from the complex. She was never seen again. Unfound Podcast Page:

Well, we have to look at this from the beginning. Somebody calls 911 saying Teresa Towne-Woolard is in a fight with Randy Allen. The 911 worker logs the call. Logs the number and can quickly determine whether it’s a cell phone or landline. Is it a payphone? Hey, there are still a couple out there.
Patrol car gets the call and the officers show up. How long did it take for them to get there? I don’t know. I don’t think Laura knows either. Long enough that Teresa and the man were obviously no longer in sight.
Officers talk to whoever is there and the “walked off” story gets started. Here is where we may start to speculate on this. My guess is officers knew who the caller was before they even got there. What if they couldn’t find the caller? What if it was determined that the caller didn’t live in the complex? What if they determined the people who lived to the sides of Teresa didn’t know who the guy was?
If the officers determined that the 911 caller could not be connected to the complex at all, they may very well could’ve decided the call wasn’t real.
