David Hardy Jr. was a 78 year old from Eunice, LA. Despite his age, he still had a steady job that he attended 5 days a week. On July 8, 2017, David was following his son home, each in their own cars, from Alexandria, LA. Somewhere along the way, David took a wrong turn. He was never seen again.

Introductory Paragraph Excerpt from Unfound’s Private Blog about this case:
I’m not here to tell everybody what their greatest fears are. But I have to believe that losing one’s mind has to be in everybody’s top five. My impression is a lot of people would rather have a heart attack and die in seconds while still having a good mind, than have a body that still works but whose brain is beginning to falter. And I’m guessing that most of us have seen this happen to people we’ve known and loved. One day they’re fine. The next? They don’t know us anymore. With the biggest pain being that we remember when they were the clearest thinkers we knew. To then be reduced to having someone else help them with every single aspect of their lives.
