Mandy Stokes: A Hard Place

Alicia Amanda Stokes, Mandy to those who knew her best, was a 33 year old from Oakland, CA. Although she’d been on the West Coast for a few years, she planned to move back to be with her mother on the East Coast. On November 25, 2007, she left in her car after having an argument with her roommate—her brother, Aaron. While driving, Mandy was on the phone with her boyfriend when the line went dead.
